Hop-a-long the boardwalk.

I was watching this young gull trying to balance on one leg, with the other hidden away. It took several attempts, and there wasn't much wind. Perhaps it was the water, but the gull did it, eventually. Gulls do this because the bird is feeling the cold. While it was cloudy, it didn't feel that cold to me. Then again I don't have to spend time swimming in the water.
