Things of beauty

Lovely day today, out & about catching up with friends old & new. Lunchtime drinks at the fabulously ornate Hotel Aguille du Midi in Les Bossons, shopping for client stuff & then the world's biggest burger in Les Houches.
I'd a plan to try and catch the Alpenglow for Blip but the weather thwarted me & the clouds drew in.
I'm trying to minimise the back blips, but my only way of uploading for the next fortnight is via phone shots. Getting back to the apartment my packing was sprawled across the lounge floor. As so many times before my eye was drawn to just how beautiful the alpine maps are, the drawn glaciers, the impact of the contours and the variation of styles compared to our British ordnance survey, and as often happens, the day's blip suddenly took care of itself.
