Tatty batty

Well, a considerable step up from yesterday, but still not very good. I will have to try again, shooting RAW, maybe with the ringflash on at full power. She (I don't know why we've decided she's female!) is very cooperative and regular in her habits. I do worry about the great rents in her wings, though. Very tatty. She looked to be feeding OK, from what I could tell.
