Cow sandwich

Another day at college. The course is classed as full time, but attendance is compulsory only for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. The rest of the time we can be working at home or in the college library or out taking photos.
This morning, we were in the computer room learning about Macs. I've only used a PC so all this is new to me, as is all the editing software.

On a Tuesday afternoon, we are timetabled to do 'Alternative images' which I think might be my favourite part of the course. Today, after a short talk about film and manual settings, the tutor loaded up some cameras with black and white FILM and sent us outside to shoot 36 photos of whatever we chose. Next Tuesday, we will see the developed images. Then we'll learn to develop our own.

While we wandered around the Crichton campus, I took a few photos on my phone as well. The college is an interesting building, on the very edge of Dumfries. We were joking that this part of it looked like a 'cow sandwich'..
