Lamp light

"Lead, kindly Light, amid the encircling gloom, lead Thou me on!
The night is dark, and I am far from home; lead Thou me on!
Keep Thou my feet; I do not ask to see
The distant scene; one step enough for me."

I had a hard time this morning. I'd slept badly and couldn't stop crying. When I went outside to look for a shot for today, my outside light was on and it seemed telling.

Through the day my mood did pick up, so maybe the prayer to see the next step was answered.

I ended the day laughing.
