Lace maker

Mary, a Lace maker. We meet her in Ripon Workhouse Museum today, she makes lacemaking look so easy, she was taught by her mother, who was also taught by her mother. Mary has been working for 3 hours to produce 3 inch’s of quality lace, a work of art, a dying craft, a pleasure to meet a lovely lady proud to share her skills.
