TOAD IN THE SAWDUST

Toad was rather disappointed that his tree trunk had been chosen for my next land art project.

Enormous oak chunks are charring in my kiln as I write this. I didn't need the whole tree, so I left half a tree trunk behind - but toad is looking forward to the next rain shower - so he can shake off all this itchy sawdust.
