A Significant Flare...

....but sadly from a spot that has not yet rotated into view, so there is no Earth bound CME. It happened yesterday and was estimated by NOAA to be a strong M or X class event. The CME from the blast site was travelling at 4.5 million mph!
AR2152, the string looking group lower centre of the image has the potential for M class flares.
