Westward

It seems to have been a very busy day, probably just getting in the swing of our Grandparent duties, getting them to school, organising lunches, catching up on washing..etc...etc.
No thoughts of photos until later this afternoon with some glorious clouds around. Took the children just up the road to the top of Pukekohe Hill for a panoramic view. They were more interested in chasing the rabbits, I saw the amazing light towards the west. There was a very heavy cloud layer above a clear area. The smoke billowing from the Glenbrook Steel Mill was backlight and from a distance, looked great.

I am processing using my laptop, which is showing its age, and the video processor is not up to using Nik, so pretty basic tweaking at the moment.

Had a Facetime call from Singapore tonight, and the children spoke to their Mum & Dad...first stage achieved, then onto Switzerland.
