December 13 high tide at Skipool Creek

Took a trip over to Skipool Creek this evening with a few photography friends and walking along the shore came across this shed on one of the wooden jetty's there marked with the tide height on the side from 5th December 2013.

I knew we had a very wet winter last year but I find it incredible that the water level could rise so high. I bet the people living in the houses along this stretch of Coast were extremely worried.
