16 days to go

A busy morning on campaign and constituency correspondence and paper work including writing yet another 700 word piece on independence for one of the Argyll local papers.

Then I set off for Ullapool where I am campaigning tomorrow, substituting for the Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon who was originally going to do a day on her way back from Stornoway but who now has to get straight to Glasgow for a TV debate.

The drive was , as ever, through wonderful scenery and as I crossed the edges of Rannoch Moor this extraordinary sight opened up which just had to be blipped. It also deserves to be seen large.

I arrived in Ullapool late on, to news of a very encouraging poll. Things are certainly getting exciting.
