Zeiss Ikon Nettar camera on mono-Monday

I visited my parents today, after induction for my new job.

My brother is a professional photographer so he has a collection of vintage cameras at our parents house. I like this Zeiss Ikon Nettar which is a folding camera, made in the 1940s. It is a film camera using a 120 roll. He doesn't use it to take photos, it's just for decoration currently. The problem is that although you can still get compatible film to use, it's difficult to get it developed (he needs to take it to a special private lab, no High Street shop can do it anymore). Apparently it takes nice photos, so I would quite like to try it one time. I never use film cameras anymore, only my digital camera or my iPhone. He much prefers using film cameras, as he feels they take much better images. Although for his commercial work he has to use digital as images are photoshopped before being used in advertisements and magazines.

I googled Zeiss Ikon as I hadn't heard of the brand before. It was a German company formed in 1926 but ceased production in 1972.
