@AyrshireColl Board Development Day

This afternoon I was at Ayrshire College for a board development session. They have recently appointed the new board of Ayrshire College, which contains a mixture of old hands and new blood…peculiar imagery there!

Like many people I am hugely impressed by the college's leadership with one of the best Chairman-Principal combinations in the country. More importantly in some respects, its so good to see too such constructive student and staff representation on the board.

The new members of the board include a leading local industrialist, a hospital consultant, a third sector leader and a university professor. They will add considerably to the existing strengths.

They are also really nice people, which counts for a lot!
