I went to Lakeland in search of a sugar thermometer and ended up with a few extras.

I don't have any current jam-making plans (or any currant-jam making plans) but I always curse not having a proper jar funnel. First World Problems, eh?

I might make some cinder toffee though, that was my plan. I've been watching that sweetie programme and despite the rather laboured kookiness, it all sounds very tempting....
