Induction event

Over in Inverness for a couple of days for the induction event for the new intake of Masters students in our area of the UHI. As most of the courses are mostly online, this is really the only time we get to meet with the new students. We have some introductory talks and demonstrations, and some time devoted to dealing with the specialities of each course. This is a welcome introduction from the Dean prior to splitting the room into subject groups. Later, we had some food together and then some staff and students drifted out to a local pub to socialise. Very civilised!
