He's home!

George was much better this morning after the antibiotics and rehydration fluids kicked in. He hadn't had any morphine since yesterday and was more alert, so he was given some water and then breakfast and they waited.
None of it came back up again, so when I went in to visit I was allowed to bring him home. He has a shaved tummy and two shaved paws and now a rather smart red bandage where the drip was removed.
The blood tests need repeating in a fortnight as they are not quite right still, but Millie and I are overjoyed to have him back again! He's almost his old self but still very tired and a bit weak. The antibiotics will continue and hopefully poor George will continue to improve.
