Velodrome

It's been a busy day but a good-busy. Very good in fact. Some good netball, working with good people and feeling good about some creative on-the-hop problem solving.

Some of the netball is being played in the velodrome which, I admit, sounds a little odd. There are 4 netball courts in the central area of the velodrome and whist it has been netball, netball, netball all day, the end of the day saw the velodrome itself being used by cyclists! This is a group of youngsters who were training by drafting behind a motorcycle.....too good a photo op to resist.

Looking forward to another great day tomorrow.

I've been out of touch with the world today and am horrified to hear this evening about the events in Ashburton today where a gunman has gunned down 2 people. The small town must be reeling from the shock. My thoughts go out to people down there.
