The More The Merrier
The other four arrived this afternoon after coming to terms with lastnight's stormy weather. Much drier today especially later on, which of course meant an easier pitch up for S, I, E & T. Fortunately S's mum 'n' dad turned up too to give a helping hand. All aces despite being a tad hectic with missing gas couplings and setting up a new tent for the first time.
The kids were naturally unaware of of all the chaos as they played hard. I found them all in a heap, goodness knows why, so naturally blipped them while R & Tuttle Jnr still had oxygen in their lungs.
Chippy tea again, but this time in the Gazebo. Aces again. Had an "good times" sit together afterwards. With beer of course.
I managed to spend a good hour and a half in the sea with my body board midday as the waves were the biggest I have ever come across. Saddly I could only get a few runs as the currents were so strong that I was pushed from the RHS of the beach all the way to the centre in no itme at all (I had to keep walking back to the RHS and start over again). As I was jumping over each wave I was swept across/back by three jumps, so as you could imagine, the effort I was putting in was being, err, swept away!
But still it was fun! Even for a 42 year old!
