Old friends

Today I took Gina on to her next port of call, Mike and Helen's house.

I met Gina and Mike in 1989 when I arrived on the kibbutz for the first time. Back in England, when we all met up again, Helen, a friend of Gina's was there and she and Mike hit it off. They've been married for 17 years now and have two sons, the first of which is Gina's God son. Gina and I have remained in touch over the years, but this is the first time I've seen Mike and Helen since the night they became ' an item '!

We talked a lot!
