Exit
We met the tractor driver a few minutes before I took this photograph. He told us this was the first dolphin to be delivered and was the last one to be collected. Here it is on its way for a freshening up before it heads for its new home.
Today was just about the first day we have had for a couple of weeks that almost resembled summer. In fact after a glorious July it may be the first nice day we have had this month, and tomorrow is a new month. Naturally I was dressed for winter as I have been for a couple of weeks now, so I was shedding clothes at most opportunities.
When we stopped the car to take this photograph we were asked by one of the workers if we were intending to park, I said no, I just wanted a last photo of the dolphin as it was taken away. When I got out the camera he asked if it was a G12 to which I acknowledged it was. An impressive bit of camera knowledge.
Pouring with rain again now. It is still August (just), I wonder of that means September is going to be really exceptionally nice.
Today was also our last full day looking after Cosmo. We will have to get used to life without her cheerful and occasionally boisterous company. We took her to both Hazlehead and Duthie parks. At Duthie park she met horses for what we assume was the first time. She did not seem too interested.
