Colour Me Rad...

An early start this morning. Up and out with my neighbour at 7am to do the first race I've done since the marathon in April. The fog lifted to reveal a beautiful warm morning, perfect for running in white with neon glasses, while you are covered with powdered paint! All in the name of charity. What fun...and the colour of my shower when I got home was purest pink.

After that, it was just one big rush. Rush to my favourite German retailer for provisions for our party this afternoon, rush home, realise I've no paper plates, go back out, purchase paper plates, come home, cook and prepare buffet for 20 plus kids.

Since we've been on our street for 12 years, we've got to know our neighbours really well and they have been fantastic over the years helping out when needed. So as a thank you and to say goodbye before we move out over the coming week, we had a big get together this afternoon. The sun shone, the food was eaten, the drink was drunk and the company was fab.

Back to work tomorrow after five weeks off, so after today, I'm off to bed!
