Tones n Shades

I had an art teacher, Mr Mulligan who always went on about tones n shades. I thought about him with this photo. The light was 'crap' and there wasn't really a subject but this somehow captured the good bit about walking through the woods.

It was another active day. I went out on the bike, smashed it up Snake Pass, rode home as hard as I could, got my trainers on and smacked out an almost race pace 8km in the hills! Last really hard effort before my race next weekend.

After an afternoon pottering, I headed to the pool for what was to prove a very hard session too.....maybe because I was a tad tired!
