Goodbye, Copenhagen
Our last morning in Copenhagen before flying home in the afternoon. This statue is made out of recycled metal components and looks out at the harbour, hunched as if deep in thought. The plaque next to it says 'Zink Global' and discusses the future of the environment. This was a spur of the moment, candid shot - I spotted the boy standing next to the statue and managed to capture the image just as he reached out to it. I like the way it looks as if he's comforting the giant figure. I put it in black and white to draw the emphasis away from the surroundings and onto the moment of interaction between a stranger and a statue.
