I've managed to replace several bits of space hogging muzak recording kit with a tiny wee firewire box thing (which arrived today). I've even managed to half-convince Mandy that this purchase was a sensible decision. Will try to blip it when I install it at the weekend.

Incidentally, this marks the end of any notion of dedicating a room especially to music. And the start of declutterring. Ebay and freecycle here we come.
