Locks and locks

Tomorrow being La Rentrée for us, this was my last chance to cut CarbBoy's hair. It had an interim cut a few weeks ago when the curls got to the point that even he was unhappy, but this was the proper cut. It was done in front of Doctor Who, which was very distracting for me, but stopped him doing his usual jiggly 'have you finished yet?' act. I always think an amateur haircut needs a day to settle in before you can tell if it needs amendment... so we shall see.

After Doctor Who a protracted 'discussion' between Mr B and TallGirl about a Dalek. Each was convinced they were correct, so Wikipedia stepped in and, in a shock development, TallGirl was right. But then she has seen every episode dozens of time, so it's probably to be expected.

In other news, our bathroom door handle (not lock really) has been broken for ages, but is finally on its last legs. If I don't blip any day soon it's because I'm trapped in there, hopelessly shouting for help...

More painting. No gardening. Some cupboard moving and filling. Too little sitting in the sunshine.

And tomorrow back on the school roller coaster.
