It's been a long week, in fact, a long 30 weeks since I started this new job of mine and one of the first task was co-ordinating a big 30th birthday bash for Murrayfield for our top consultants and GPs. Marquee, bubbles, bites and bunting. Amazing how stressful such frippery can be.
Grand success, great night and as you can see from the relief on my face, glad it's all over!
