Crinan Ferry

It was a lovely day so after all the excitement of yesterday and before all the chaos of tonight I took my camera for a walk along the canal side towards Crinan. Warm sunny and lovely late summer weather, met my friend M who was out cycling so we had a good blether too.

This shot was taken looking over the flats while the tide was out, towards Crinan Ferry. The two boat houses were venues last weekend for the art map and hosted lots of paintings but all looks quiet today.

Tonight it's the book club and it's at my house! We have been reading "Life after life" I quite enjoyed it. Best get tidied up and some food and wine prepared for them. I don't mind being the host but I don't actually think I'm very good at it.
