STYLE ON SUNDAY (4) - AUGUST CHALLENGE
We have just got home after 10 days in Boscombe and because I am still feeling rather “under the weather” was wondering if I would be able to find a blip for today.
Because it’s the last day of the Airshow, thousands were coming into Boscombe so as we set off, we were saying how good it was to be relatively traffic-free when suddenly we came to a halt. Traffic stretched into the distance, as far as we could see, but fortunately, we were able to get off that particular road, so we came back via Salisbury, instead of on the motorway - and what a pleasant trip it was.
We haven’t come back that way for quite some time and had forgotten how lovely the villages are - with the rolling downs, blue skies and fluffy clouds, it was a real treat.
Driving through Cholderton, we saw a farm shop and café that did lunches, so we stopped - blip sorted! There were lots of these beautiful Belgian Bearcded d’Uccle chickens and roosters all around, on the grass, under the tables in the barn and some were even on the tables! One had ten little chicks, but this rooster won the day for STYLE ON SUNDAY - my last one for the August Challenge - and I hope you will agree it does have style.
I have put some other photographs in my Blipfolio.

Thank you for all your kind comments yesterday - summer colds certainly take their toll - and an early night did help somewhat. I'm a "tough old bird" (much like this one) so am sure I will be fine very soon.
