Stupid Crap
Radiohead - Pyramid Song
Today was spent seeing my friend doing his thing and dancing with his Domatsuri Crew. It's an awesome family that's great to be with and an achievement with true worthwhile value. Seeing him dance had a sense of truth. It was later spent having festival food and chilling with drinks. After was more drinks with friends and getting to know people better. Good times.
Despite these things, my CF card on my camera decided (I'll place blame as I had no control over this) to die and be inaccessible. My memories lost in an instant of modern technological breakdown. My photos from Melbourne, small instances of chance and meetings with friends... forever gone. No matter how self-assured you can be in any form of criteria, it will be swept away in an instant. Such terrible bull takes over and has no respect for desires. Things change instantly without warning (or with warning but it just wasn't seen). I'll have to buy a new CF Card tomorrow but with heavy regret that my memories of yesterday were gone.
The weather was so beautiful, calm, warm and cooling with a breeze that just swept away all that was the past. Perhaps my lack of love for photography was reflected in the weather. You get what you pay for.
