Maslow hierarchy of needs

Maslow said that you had to have achieve a certain level of needs and when this was done you would move to the next level. So, primarily we need air, food, water, shelter, sleep etc. once we have all these we will then start to seek things like law, order etc to achieve safety. Then comes relationships etc all the way up to some high achieving personal inner brilliance. Anyway, the point is until you get the first things, you can't move onto the next.

I know, sorry, pretty boring. But very relevant to me this morning when I had a big wobble (and I was lying down at the time). My entire focus since I broke my leg was on coming home, now I am home I have got a bloody broken leg and it is not a very practical thing to have. Our house is not particularly one-legged person friendly and I am not very good at asking people to do everything for me. They have been wonderful though, Will is in charge of waiting at either end of the stairs with the spare crutch.

Kardimomma came round with brownies and then took the children to the park. I am all caught up with bake off (what was that Diana one thinking of???) and have discovered BBC4 have started a new Nordic subtitled murder thing. All these things make me happy.

The stairs do not make me happy but I assume by Tuesday or Wednesday I will be skipping up them like a mountain goat at which point I can start on the next level of my hierarchy of needs (haven't decided what that is yet)
