Home made produce

Had a lovely lazy lunch with the girls at The Gardiner's Cottage which is a great little restaurant focussing on local and in season produce tucked away at the side of London Road - always fancied going as I have passed it on the bus hundreds of times.

Great home made quiche followed by Autumn Tart with rhubarb grown in the little kitchen garden adjacent to the restaurant and hazelnut ice cream - yum!

Spotted this shelf of jams, pickles and other home made produce on the way out - not the best picture ever taken but so nice to see somewhere trying to be natural and organic. We will be back for sure
