Copenhagen Floods

The rain from yesterday was just a precursor to what we got over night - 60mm in 30 minutes at one point. Several cellars in the neighbourhood have been flooded, including at least one from my project (Henrik). The city transport is in chaos and these hose pipes are causing a lot of it. They're from Tivoli, I followed them from over a kilometre away. It meant that all roads between there and this water way are closed. I think they should have closed Tivoli and used the police, fire brigade and army in a more productive way.

The rain has also cocked up the remote hot water for parts of the city. Do other cities have hot water piped to their door or is it just us? I'm used to a boiler and living in small towns. Luckily we're OK, this time.
