Sunset, Mission Beach, San Diego

You had to have it sooner or later, a San Diego sunset shot. We were out walking at the end of the day, especially to see the sunset from ground level instead of from 10 floor up. And it didn't disappoint, setting from a clear blue sky. Lots of people watching, so that helped to frame the shot too. All the shots on blip will likely to be using the iPhone as it is not possible to upload shots from the Panasonic.

We walked back along the Mission Bay in the gathering disk enjoying looking into the houses lining the bay, many of which are for rent.

We'd had a relaxing morning, just stepping out for a coffee at Kono's before going to linch as Cosymel's in La Jolla. This was after the wedding rehearsal. We got there very late owing to traffic and finding the venue once we'd arrived. The Westfiekd UTC shopping centre is a very big place.

But it was a very nice do. People were guests of the bride and groom. Some interesting food and very tasty cocktails.

So, it's all over bar the shouting, whatever that means. The big day tomorrow. Bigger for Chris and his fiancé, but a great day and one for the memory banks. It'll all be over in the wink of an eye.
