Camden Windjammer Days

Ken and Sue Ellen asked us to go to Camden Windjammer Days. Of course, we were in...another beautiful coastal town in Maine to explore! We watched the crate races ( wooden crates filled with seaweed that are connected from one wharf to another that people run across), participated in the Chowder Challenge ( yummy and fun talking to our co-participants), walked all around town, then went to some shops in Liberty, ending up back at their camp for appetizers on the dock and a light dinner of fresh salad with chicken and corn on the cob! A quick trip to John's Ice Cream for homemade pumpkin and strawberry rhubarb ice cream proved to be a treat! The sunset brought a beautiful end to our day!
