Rose of Sharon

In the spring I cut these trees back to practically bare twigs. My neighbour felt that they probably wouldn't flower this year...but as you can see they are pretty indestructable. I have 6 trees around my house but in the spring I find hundreds more starting up. I pull them out of the ground give them to other people and they have flowers that same season.
If only everything were so easy.

BTW: I don't think I will be participating in this weeks assignment as I don't have a webcam handy in my town...but I will certainly be enjoying all you blippin' blippers!
