Flat Grey Skies and Green, Green Trees

Oh, and a castle!!!

Not really much of a day for taking photographs - well, not early on, anyway but I was struck by the lushness of the trees in the Gardens and stopped to have a look.

I read somewhere once that Edinburgh had the most amount of trees in any European city - I don't know if that's true (or who would do the counting!) but sometimes it feels very true.
