Village show competitive spirit is alive and well and flourishing in Sawston!

My sister-in-law had a few entries in the Sawston horticultural show for the first time so I popped along for a little look.

I'll upload some photos to Flickr probably tomorrow (too tired & headachy now, but only minimal dizzies, yay) but the event was held in the lovely setting of the Mary Challis Garden in the village. She's chuffed to bits at being placed first both in the cake decorating class and also for a giant pumpkin from their garden.

A lovely place for a wander :)

Stella made an attempt at chasing a squirrel in my parent's garden but her comedy version of running while still working out the balance with her back legs being an important toe short was a sight for sore eyes! God bless her for having the will to chase though, she's making good progress :)
