SR71 Blackbird

When I was little I saved tokens form cereal boxes to get a model of one of these, I have loved them ever since.

Duxford for us today, we will get value from that English Heritage card. It is a great place, my other favourite planes, the Phantom and Mosquito are also in there as well as tons of other brilliant aircraft.
There is a really good section which explains flight and the history of manned flight, with lots of hands on experiments for the children.
There is also a special WW1 trench with some nice hats.. The children had a go with Morse code, whilst H faced her fears,,,.

The only problem with it is that the planes are crammed in so it is hard to get a decent shot.
