Pendle Walking Festival!

Pendle Walking Festival started today with over 70 free guided walks around our area. It will be on until the 7th of September. The walks vary fro 2 miles to 23 miles.

We had to start with a view of Pendle Hill and we saw it this morning on our walk from Barley up to the Pendle Sculpture Trail which was 3 miles long. The setting is in a atmospheric woodland with art, history and nature coming together. Four artist have created a range of sculptures and their work has been inspired by the history of the Pendle witches.
