Blackberry thief

Just remember next time you pick your free blackberries that it is free food for everyone including the mice. As I was walking along today I noticed out of the corner of my eye a little house / wood mouse eating a blackberry but it then scurried away. I waited very quietly for a while and sure enough it came back, I then noticed another climbing the top brambles. So for anyone that picks the blackberries from the bush without washing them, remember the mice have probably already been there, and as they tinkle as they walk that's not good. It's put me off picking them for a while.
