365 #241 - The Boot

This morning I had privileged access to the bits of Edinburgh castle that the fireworks will be set off from tomorrow night. To be honest, racks of sticks under plastic sheeting and a fairly leaden sky didn't produce much, but the wee room the fireworks people operate from gave me this still life which I was quite happy with.
Hopefully the actual fireworks will provide some good shots.
