Life's a beach

Another day in Edinburgh for Dad but another morning enjoying the beach for Nikki, Grandma and the wee man.

There were lots of mums and kids on the beach today and one mum in particular obviously knew her stuff about sea life.

She spent some time sifting through seaweed that had washed up on the shore and collected all these sea creatures in a bucket - sea stars, anemones and sea worms. Then she called over all the kids around to come and have a look. When the wee man was offered a sea star to gently hold, he let out a firm 'no, no, no'... must be the nervous Englishman in him :) So Grandma bravely held the star instead.

In other news, bump number 2 is 20 weeks old today. Halfway there!
