Surfers at Wainui

If you look very carefully on the centre right of the picture, the little dots are surfers!
This morning we drove 2 hours south of Auckland to Raglan for a short weekend break. The weather is rather cold but it is nice to get away for 2 days as most of this trip has been in Auckland.
Raglan has some lovely beaches and they are mostly black sand which for us is unusual. We went for a couple of walks and a drive around the area.
I loved the late afternoon light and the clouds reflecting in the damp sand at Wainui beach.
