Getting ready

Saturday is the office flower show.

So Friday was the annual ritual of digging up potatoes, cutting anything with a bit of colour in it in case it could be used, finishing the baking (we were doing this year as before GBBO) and checking the jams were properly labelled.

Then transporting everything to the office in Leith.

This year the car was less laden. The very hot spell in early summer brought on everything and flowers that would normally be ideal for the show finished a few weeks back.

Still, the entries on Friday night looked good!
