Crossing cultures

Odd work day (again!). Combination of two rather dramatic meetings with much more desk time than usual, then colleague's leaving do before dashing off to concert of Jordanian and Scottish musicians playing together. Lovely to watch the communication and interplay between the performers.
Ended the evening by meeting T's (grown up) children in restaurant called Calistoga. So strange to be in a Californian restaurant in Edinburgh called after a town I was in so far away a few short weeks ago!
