Crucifixion

Although the Crieff Arts Festival is over, many of the shops have kept their window displays which allows further blip opportunities.

As the Arts Festival demonstrates, we are lucky to have a number of very accomplished artists living in or near Crieff, none more so than Janet Melrose, who has recently started experimenting with paper sculptures in addition to her paintings.

How amazing it must be to look at a pile of shredded paper and 'see' something else entirely. This was in the window of one of our two opticians and somehow I missed it last weekend.

Janet also runs an art group at my church and donates paintings to the silent auction at our annual fete.
