10 pm. Sleepy chickens. Quick snap before shutting the door. Scarcely opened an eye despite the flash (small F). Flash had already gone back indoors. I hope the whiff of badger poo will have been washed away in the river this morning otherwise she'll be banned from the bed!

My two chickens have become mates, thank goodness. Chichi followed me about this afternoon when I was doing a bit of cutting back in preparation for shifting logs for the woodburner. She lets me pick her up for a cuddle first thing in the morning.
