Tree

This simple little tree is more in harmony with life on this planet than we have ever been.

It will never boast of literature, philosophy or scientific triumph.

But nor has it started a war, suppressed or abused people, or damaged the very planet that is responsible for the miracle of its existence.

Frankly, it shames us all. Those who abuse this planet, and those who allow it to happen.

This is our home, this pale blue dot. We have no other, and may never gain the means to find another.

We have to starting caring for this one.
