Last Day in the UK

Tortie joined the family in 1975 and has lived in Essex and North London at different times, as have we. She likes lettuce and tomatoes and is very partial to cucumber, but her passion is dandelion flowers. Today she enjoyed an early supper of kale and cucumber. This is my second (and last) photo in the occasional, ok, once only, series subtitled 'Looking after your brother's menagerie' (started yesterday) and whilst Tortie may not be as cute as Gibbles, she wins the longevity competition claws down.

Apart from looking after the wee beasties, I had a rough day. It is my last day in Essex before going back to Istanbul tomorrow. Stress.
