Ever considered it?

Google is a terrible thing...I started reading about types of snails and discovered they allegedly make great pets!

To quote one expert:

"Snails are highly social creatures, despite what people would generally expect of a small, slime-coated gastropod. They are also very tame and friendly, and can easily take to being handled and pet on a regular basis. Some people even shower with their snails to cut down on bathing time! Yes, you can even take your pets into the shower with you. Of course, you can't use soap or shampoo in the shower. Your snail would become ill, and no amount of hair products is going to grow them a furry shell"

He did look kinda cute - lol!
